Throughout my 11 years in 4-H, I feel I have learned the importance of commitment and responsibility. 4-H has been a fundamental part of my life and I believe it has shaped and prepared me for my future. It is possible there may have been a place outside of 4-H that could have influenced me to be accountable, trustworthy, dependable, and respectful but I give that credit to my family and 4-H experiences. Here’s to steers like Forrest and Apollo, to my favorite barrow Wilbur, and to banana bread, vegetable displays and angel food cake! I am currently a freshman at Lincoln Land Community College studying Communications. I plan to transfer and earn my bachelor’s degree in Communication and Sports Administration; I have not yet decided where, BUT everyone knows how much I love Orange and Blue!
