STALL RENT - $1.00 per head
- All sheep must be in pens by Tuesday evening, July 9 by 7 p.m.
- Wethers and Market Ewes will be weighed at 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9.
- All sheep must comply with the rulings of the Department of Agriculture of the State of Illinois on sheep exhibiting at Illinois Fairs. HEALTH CERTIFICATES WILL BE CHECKED 5-7 p.m.
- Sheep in all classes must be fitted.
- Wethers, Market Ewes, & Commercial Ewes must be slick sheared.
- All sheep will be assigned pens by the Superintendent. Stall rent is paid per head of sheep entered. Although you may request a certain number of pens, we cannot guarantee that you will receive that number.
- All purebred sheep must have approved Breed Association ID.
- Only Wether, Market Ewes, and Commercial Ewes can be shown in the Market Classes. The same ewes cannot be shown in the Market Classes and the Breeding Classes.
- Teeth must match date of the animal.
- All wethers for 4-H Auction must stay on the Fairgrounds until after the Auction.
- The Novice Wether Class is restricted to Morgan County residents (showing sheep less than three years). Superintendents make final decision on all entrants.
- The 2013 show will start with Montadales.
- Sheep, other than sale animals, will be released on Wednesday after the show until 6a.m. Thursday, following the Swine Show on Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday, following the Goat Show on Friday until 6a.m. Saturday, following the Beef Show on Saturday until 10:30a.m. on Sunday, and after 4:00 p.m.on Sunday
