68th Annual Morgan County Fair Pageant

The Morgan County Fair Pageant will be held Tuesday, July 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Grandstand. We encourage all interested girls residing in Morgan County to enter. The 2026 Queen will be awarded a scholarship and additional prizes.  Queen first runner up and Queen second runner up will receive scholarships. Prizes donated by area businesses will be awarded in all categories.

FAQs
PRINCESS CONTEST RULES
  • Contestants must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Morgan County.
  • Contestants must be 5 years old by July 7, 2026, and not 7 by the same date.
  • Only 15 applicants will be accepted; entry deadline is limited to the first 15 applicants. 
  • Contestants will be judged on beauty, personality and charm and will be interviewed by judges prior to the pageant.
  • $30 entry fee required for each contestant, sent with entry information by mail only.  Entries by any other method will not be accepted.
JUNIOR MISS CONTEST RULES
  • Contestants must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Morgan County.
  • Contestants must be 12 years old by July 7, 2026, and not 14 years old by the same date.
  • Only the first 15 applicants will be accepted; entry deadline is limited to the first 15 applicants.
  • Contestants will be judged on beauty, personality, charm, stage presence and communication and will be interviewed by judges prior to the pageant.
  • $30 entry fee required for each contestant, sent with entry information by mail only.  Entries by any other method will not be accepted.
QUEEN CONTEST RULES
  • Contestants must be a U.S. citizen and Morgan Co. resident at least 6 months prior to the pageant.
  • Contestants must be single, never married, and have no children.
  • Contestants must be a minimum of 17 years old by July 7, 2026, and not 22 years old by January 1, 2027.
  • Only the first 15 applicants will be accepted; entry deadline is limited to the first 15 applicants.
  • Contestants cannot have previously been a county fair queen in Illinois.
  • Contestants will be judged on beauty, physique, stage presence and speech communication and will be interviewed by judges prior to the pageant.
  • $30 entry fee is required for each contestant, sent with entry information by mail only.
  • 2026 Miss Morgan County is automatically entered in the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen pageant to be held in Springfield in January 2027.
ROYALTY APPEARANCES

The following appearances are mandatory for the 2026 Royalty. Carefully consider contestant’s ability to commit to these appearances before entering the pageant.

  • 2026 Morgan County Fair: July 7 – 13
  • Local county fairs/parades held after the 2026 Morgan County Fair
  • Local parades held after the 2026 Morgan County Fair
  • County Fair Day at Illinois State Fair – August 13, 2026
  • IAAF Zone Meeting – November 7, 2026
  • IAAF State Pageant – January 14-17, 2027
  • All pageant preparation activities for the 2027 Morgan County Fair Pageant.
